PLEASANTON, TX — Senator-elect Pete Flores announced Harold W. Stone as his Chief of Staff, starting immediately upon Senator-elect Flores’ swearing in on October 12, 2018 at 10am.

Stone was most recently Director of Inter-Governmental Relations at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, where he previously served as Legislative Liaison. “I have known Harold Stone since 2003 and have tremendous confidence in his abilities,” said Senator-elect Flores. “Harold is an old friend and a distinguished worker with strong government agency and legislative experience. I trust his character, his ability to manage a staff, and his know-how on passing legislation. He is a great first addition to my team. We will be working hard to represent this entire district as we tackle crucial priorities, including passing meaningful tax reform, supporting our energy industry, growing the Texas economy, defending life and protecting gun rights.”

“I would like to thank the citizens of Senate District 19 for trusting Colonel Flores with their Senate seat and look forward to serving them in the Texas Senate,” said Stone.

Harold Stone has worked in various roles of increasing responsibility at Parks and Wildlife since 2001. He holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Texas State University.

Senator-elect Flores will be sworn in on Friday, Oct. 12 at 10am in the Senate chamber.
